The Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute announces the admission of students for the 2024/2025 academic year in the following areas (specialties):

I. Specialist Program (State-funded)

  1. Construction Equipment and Technologies (specialties: Planning of civil defense in architecture and construction works; Civil defense in road construction works)
  2. Chemical Technologies (specialty: Civil defense in the chemical industry and its application)

II. Specialist Program (Fee-Based)

1. Architecture (specialties: Architecture; Urban Construction and Settlement Planning; Architectural Environment Design)

2. Construction Equipment and Technologies (specialties: Industrial and Civil Engineering; Heat, gas supply, and ventilation; Water supply, sewerage, and protection of water resources; Construction of automobile roads and airfields; Production of building materials, products, and structures; Bridges and transport tunnels; Urban construction; Applied geodesy)

3. Electrical and Thermal Power Engineering (specialties: Power supply; Electric drive and automation of industrial plants and technological complexes)

4. Mechanical Engineering (specialties: Automation of technological processes and production; Lifting, transport, construction, and road machines and equipment; Machines and apparatus for chemical production and building materials enterprises)

5. Chemical Technologies (specialties: Chemical technology of inorganic substances; Chemical technology of refractory non-metallic and silicate materials; Chemical technology of glass and sitalls)

6. Material Technology (specialty: Processing metals by pressure)

III. Bachelor's Program (Fee-Based)

    1. Earth Sciences (area of study: Cartography and geoinformatics     (in the industrial sector));
    2. Construction Equipment and Technologies (area of study: Real Estate expertize and management (in the industrial sector));

3.Computer Science and Computer Engineering (areas of study: Computer science and communication technologies (in the industrial sector); Information systems and technologies (in the industrial sector); Software for computer systems; Information and measurement equipment and technologies);

  1. Information Security (area of study: Information security);
  2.  Electronics, Radio Engineering, and Communication Systems (areas of study: Microelectronics and semiconductor devices; Industrial electronics) ;
  3. Chemical Technologies (area of study: Chemical technology (in the industrial sector));
  4. Economics and Management (areas of study: Economics and organization of production (in the industrial sector); Enterprise economics and management (in the industrial sector); Logistics (in the industrial sector)).

Citizens of Turkmenistan under 35 years of age, who have a general secondary or secondary vocational education, are admitted to the institute based on the competitive results of entrance examinations. Tuition at the institute will be on a fee-paying basis and state funded.

Document submission (for those applying to fee-based specialties and areas of study) will take place in velayat centers and in Ashgabat (for Ashgabat and Arkadag cities) from July 15 to July 28, 2024.
 

List of Required Documents

  • Application addressed to the Rector in the prescribed form
  • Application form in the prescribed format
  • Original certificate of general secondary or secondary vocational education
  • Medical certificate in the form established by the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan
  • Reference letter from the last place of study (work, military unit)
  • Eight 3x4 cm photos
  • Certified copy of employment record book for employed individuals
  • Original supporting documents for winners of the State School Olympiad and members of Turkmenistan's national teams who participated in international Olympiads in general educational subjects during the year of admission. These individuals are granted preferential admission to state institutions of secondary and higher vocational education, provided they successfully pass the entrance examinations.

In addition to the aforementioned documents, applicants must also present and submit copies of the following documents to the Admissions Committee:

  • Passport
  • Military ID for those who have served in the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan; military registration certificate and a reference from the military commissariat at their place of residence for young men who have not completed military service.

An applicant may also submit other documents that confirm their preferential right for admission. Applicants bear personal responsibility for any inaccurate information or documents provided.

Entrance examinations and enrollment will be conducted at the institute (in Ashgabat) during the following periods:

  • Ahal Velayat: August 2, 4, and 6
  • Ashgabat and Arkadag cities: July 31 - August 1, 3, and 5
  • Mary Velayat: August 7, 9, and 11
  • Lebap Velayat: August 8, 10, and 12
  • Dashoguz Velayat: August 13, 15, and 16
  • Balkan Velayat: August 14, 15, and 16.
     

Entrance examinations are conducted in the following subjects:

  • Architecture program: drawing and graphics, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan;
  • Construction Equipment and Technologies program: physics, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan
  • Computer Science and Computer Engineering program: physics, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan
  • Electronics, Radio Engineering, and Communication Systems program: physics, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan
  • Electrical and Thermal Power Engineering program: physics, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan
  • Mechanical Engineering program: physics, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan
  • Chemical Technologies program: chemistry, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan
  • Material Technology program: physics, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan
  • Economics and Management program: physics, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan

Entrance examinations are based on the curriculum for secondary schools in Turkmenistan. The entrance exams for all subjects are conducted orally in the state language. Individuals who fail to appear for an exam at the scheduled time without a valid reason, or who fail an exam in one of the subjects, will not be permitted to take subsequent examinations. In cases of equal scores on entrance examinations, the following individuals are given preferential admission:

  • Individuals with at least 2 years of work experience in their chosen field.
  • Individuals who have completed military service by conscription.
