On May 17, 2026, the 56th International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament in memory of Ali Aliyev was held at the Ali Aliyev Sports and Youth Complex in the city of Kaspiysk (Republic of Dagestan). In this competition, Dovletgeldi Myradov, a 2nd-year student specializing in "Cartography and Geoinformatics" at the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, competed in the 92 kg weight category and was awarded a bronze medal and a diploma of honor.
