A meeting with representatives from the UK was held at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute

Manuela Gatto, Director of the British architectural firm “Zaha Hadid Architects” (ZHA), and Sattor Jabbor, Senior Associate at the company, delivered a lecture for the students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute. The session focused on global expertise and the contemporary practices of British architectural firms. More than 200 students of the institute actively participated in the lecture.

The lecture, organized by the UK representatives, provided detailed insights into modern architectural landmarks, digital innovations in architecture, cutting-edge building materials, and the latest engineering solutions in urban planning.

As part of the meeting, the parties discussed ways to elevate international scientific and intellectual cooperation to new heights. During the talks, particular attention was paid to the joint development of architectural projects, the implementation of joint programs, and the integration of innovative construction technologies into production.

To mark the occasion of the guests' visit, the institute organized an exhibition showcasing the results of research and design work conducted by the faculty and students. The guests familiarized themselves in detail with the exposition, as well as with the architectural designs of the institute's professors and students.

The meeting concluded with an active Q&A session. At the end of the event, it was noted that the regular organization of such international academic mobility platforms will greatly contribute to deepening scientific and educational cooperation, as well as strengthening friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom.
