On June 1, 2026, an event dedicated to International Children’s Day was held at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute. Coinciding with this wonderful date, the grand opening of the scientific and creative “Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs) Club, which opened a new chapter in the scientific and creative life of the institute, was organized alongside an educational meeting on the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).

The event began with Amanmyrat Arazov, Head of the Science Department of TSACI, solemnly cutting the ribbon of the new SDGs Club. During the opening ceremony, speakers Yslam Saryjayev and Aybolek Ashyrova provided a comprehensive introduction to the main goals and objectives of the club in both Turkmen and English. Furthermore, Bayramtach Oraztaganova, Head of the “Languages” Department of the Chemical Technology Faculty and the scientific supervisor of the club, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of this scientific and creative initiative for students. Warm congratulations from the institute’s leadership and the presentation of SDGs Club pins to the new members inspired the youth toward achieving new successes.

A particularly vibrant and impressive part of the event was the interactive educational meeting organized for children and youth. More than 30 children of various ages attended this meeting together with their parents (teachers and employees of the institute). Teachers from the "Languages" Department, members of the SDGs Club, and other guests also participated in the event.

To teach children about their rights and the concepts of sustainable development in an easy and engaging way, interesting information about the Convention on the Rights of the Child was provided in two languages, adapted to the children’s age characteristics. Specially prepared educational videos about child rights were shown to the attendees. Additionally, following the informative sessions, various interactive games were facilitated by the members of the SDGs Club. These joyful games helped the children easily grasp concepts of rights and sustainability that might otherwise seem complex.

This event was not limited to merely providing information, it also made a significant contribution to fostering intergenerational connection and dialogue regarding sustainable development and the future of children. The laughter and curiosity of the children echoed through the halls, adding a delightful atmosphere to the celebration. At the end of the meeting, an open networking session allowed the adults to exchange ideas, while a commemorative group photo session ensured that this wonderful day became an unforgettable moment in the history of TSACI and the SDGs Club.
