Educational Familiarization Practice Organized at the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan

An educational familiarization practice was organized at the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan for third-year students of the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute. The event was attended by students majoring in Architectural Environment Design, Architecture, and Urban Planning and Settlement Development. The practice was conducted under the supervision of Trainee Lecturer Arslan Myradov and Lecturer Ashyrgeldi Khojaberdiyev.

The main objective of the practice was to familiarize students with the architectural features, structural solutions, and spatial organization of the State Library, one of the country’s leading cultural institutions, as well as with modern library services and technologies.

During the practice, the students visited reading halls, electronic information centers, book repositories, and other library departments. They were also provided with detailed information about the architectural design of the building, its interior and exterior features, the functional organization of its spaces, and the efficiency of their use.

The students had the opportunity to study modern architectural approaches applied in the design of the library building, the requirements for public buildings, and the principles of architectural environment design. This enabled them to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, improve their professional skills, and enhance their readiness for future professional activities.

At the conclusion of the practice, the students received answers to their questions and gained additional information about the library’s operations and the design solutions implemented in the building. Such educational practices play an important role in the professional development of future specialists, fostering creative thinking and enriching practical knowledge.
