At the Faculty of Engineering Mechanics of the Turkmen State of Architecture and Construction Institute, Gandym Chetiyev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Metal Processing Technology, conducted a scientific and practical seminar entitled “Methods of Saving Electrical Energy in Steel Production”.

During the seminar, detailed information was presented on modern solutions related to the efficient use of electrical energy in steel production, optimization of electric motor operation, reactive power compensation, reduction of losses in electrical networks, as well as digital monitoring of energy consumption and automation of production processes.
The presentation particularly emphasized that the efficient use of energy resources contributes not only to reducing production costs but also to improving equipment reliability.
It was also emphasized that regular energy audits, digital monitoring, and automatic control systems are of great importance in ensuring the sustainable effectiveness of energy-saving measures.
The scientific and practical seminar helped students combine their theoretical knowledge with modern technological solutions used in production and broadened their understanding of energy efficiency and the digital management of production processes.
