Procedure for Applying to Connect to Information and Telecommunication Networks

DEAR STAFF AND FACULTY!

ON THE PROCEDURE FOR CONNECTING TO THE INSTITUTE'S INFORMATION AND TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORKS.

The Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute has received a certificate of compliance with the international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022 "Information Security Management Systems".

Obtaining the certificate means that the institute has committed to complying with the requirements of this standard. This obliges us to follow approved instructions and procedures, including in matters of connecting to the institute's information and telecommunication networks.

In this regard, starting September 1, 2026, connection to the internal (local) network and the Internet is carried out only on the basis of a written application of the established format.

HOW TO CONNECT TO THE INSTITUTE'S NETWORKS:

Step 1. Download the application template (form) using the link below:

Step 2. Fill out all the fields of the application:

• provide information about yourself (Full Name, position, structural department, contact phone number, e-mail);
• provide the justification for the need to connect (for what work tasks access is required);
• familiarize yourself with the user's responsibilities and sign the application.

Step 3. Coordinate the application with the head of the structural department.

Step 4. Submit the application to the general department (chancellery) for registration.

Step 5. After registration, the general department (chancellery) forwards the application to the institute's management for approval. After the application is approved, CCC employees will contact you to coordinate the date and time of connection.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

• The application is accepted only in a completed and signed form.
• Before connecting, you are obliged to familiarize yourself with the following documents:
  • Information Security Policy;
  • Access Control and Endpoint Security Policy;
  • Network and Network Services Acceptable Use Policy;
  • "Network Segregation" Instruction.
• Connecting to the institute's networks means your agreement with cybersecurity requirements and the obligation to comply with them.
• The use of the institute's networks for personal purposes not related to the institute's activities is prohibited.
• Transferring your user credentials to third parties is prohibited.
• Upon an employee's dismissal, their access to the networks is revoked.

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT:

Compliance with established procedures is not just a formality. It ensures:

• Security — protection of the institute's data from unauthorized access;
• Control — each application is registered and does not get lost;
• Transparency — you know who has access to the networks and on what basis;
• Compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 requirements — we confirm the status of a certified institute.
