On August 20 of this year, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan — Hero Arkadag — held a meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
He noted that the agenda of the meeting included such issues as the high-level preparation and organization of the upcoming session of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, key tasks related to the socio-economic development of the country in the Era of Revival of a new epoch of the Powerful State, as well as the work being carried out to nominate our compatriots — who have achieved outstanding labor successes in various fields and enjoy great respect and authority among the people — for state awards and honorary titles on the occasion of the significant holiday — Independence Day.
Our National Leader emphasized that in September of this year, together with our people, we will widely and unitedly celebrate the Independence Day of our Homeland.
In addition, in accordance with Article 19 of the Constitutional Law of Turkmenistan “On the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan”, he identified 10 key areas of preparatory work that must be carried out at a high level in cooperation with the organizational team of the Apparatus of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
In this regard, a roundtable discussion was organized to widely highlight these directions, the recording of which was carried out in cooperation with the “Altyn Asyr” television channel of Turkmenistan.
