On March 14, 2026, a scientific-practical conference titled “Nowruz has come to our land” was held at the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, with the participation of faculty members and female students.

The Nowruz holiday has become an invaluable treasure, embodying our people's ancient history, cultural heritage, and spiritual world. During the Nowruz celebrations, the performance of classical forms of our folklore — such as monjugatdy, läle, öleň, aýdyşyk, hüwdi, and gazal — alongside exhibitions of national costumes and agricultural products, and demonstrations of traditional cooking methods, plays a vital role. These activities are of particular importance in widely promoting our ancient cultural heritage and educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, national identity, high morality, and integrity. The celebration of these wonderful traditions during the spring festival inspires our citizens toward ambitious and noble goals. The far-reaching joy and excitement of Nowruz fill our proud hearts with the enthusiasm of spring and the warmth of the season.
During the conference, faculty members spoke about the traditions, literary works, folk games, and unique characteristics associated with the National Spring Holiday of the Turkmen people — International Nowruz Day.
