The International Conference and Exhibition “Development of Construction, Industry, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan” (CIET 2025) was solemnly opened in Awaza

On November 3, 2025, in the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone, the International Conference and Exhibition titled “Development of Construction, Industry, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan” (CIET 2025), dedicated to the Day of Construction and Industrial Workers of Turkmenistan, was solemnly opened.

At the international exhibition were presented products of national enterprises and private companies operating in relevant sectors of Turkmenistan. Among the participants were leading construction, industrial and energy companies from various countries, as well as large, well-known international corporations. These companies demonstrated their latest technologies, new projects and products. They exchanged views on business opportunities in Turkmenistan and aimed to establish new partnership agreements.

In addition, Turkmen companies and state institutions displayed their capabilities in construction, industry, energy and other sectors. These enterprises, together with foreign partners, are working on the development and expansion of new technological projects.

The program of the forum covers such important topics as sustainable development, investment, partnership and innovation.

The organizers of the event are the State Concern “Turkmenhimiya”, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, the State Agency for Management of Road Construction, the Hyakimlik of Ashgabat city and the “Turkmen Energy Forum” Economic Society.

The creation of innovative productions, the construction of large industrial enterprises, the increase of import-substitution production capacities, enhancement of export potential, and the introduction of the digital economy into the sector are being successfully implemented.

Modern cities, towns and modern villages have been built and they are reflecting the creative spirit of our era in the national architectural style inherited from our ancestors. In that modern cities, towns and villages were built educational institutions, sports facilities, residential buildings, parks, luxury hotels, sports and health centers, medical institutions, sanatoriums, high-speed highways, large industrial-production complexes and other structures and facilities. The construction of many projects is being actively continued.

This high-level international exhibition and scientific conference serve as an interactive platform for negotiations, exchange of experience, and practical implementation of innovative developments and technologies.

The representatives participating in the international exhibition and conference can become acquainted with the achievements of modern Turkmenistan and with innovative technologies aimed at improving living conditions in cities and villages, as part of the rapidly developing and promising construction sector of the national economy.

Faculty staff and students of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute actively took part in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition and conference.

CIET 2025 reflects Turkmenistan’s strategic vision based on innovation, partnership and sustainable development. The forum unites representatives of business, science, and government, strengthening the country’s role as a center of construction and energy cooperation in Eurasia.

The work of the forum will be concluded on November 4.
