On April 2, 2026, the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute successfully held the first round of the subject Olympiad in “Physics”.
The Olympiad is being conducted as part of the implementation of the priority tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, to modernize the national educational system and to raise a broad-minded, ambitious, and competitive generation capable of managing innovative technologies and possessing high scientific potential.
Furthermore, the event aimed to fulfill the plans for the Concept of Developing the Digital Educational System and the Concept of Improving the Teaching of Natural and Exact Sciences in Turkmenistan.
The Olympiad was held among graduating students of the country’s secondary schools. Students who achieved high results in this round have earned the right to participate in the second round of the competition.
