The faculty of Architecture and Construction at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, through its Department of Architecture, studies the Seyit Jemaleddin Mosque in Anau not only as a place of worship but also as one of the most exquisite examples of medieval Turkmen architectural art. This is done to enhance students’ professional skills and broaden their educational experience.
The mosque’s “sacred art” is embodied in every brick, in its intricate mosaics, and in the finely detailed wall decorations. This place is not only visually striking but also serves as a rich center for learning about architectural and cultural heritage.
