This training seminar was organized within the framework of the UNDP/GEF project "Developing national capacity through the improvement of the regulatory and legal framework for the development of an energy-efficient and sustainable construction sector in Turkmenistan", as well as the EU project SECCA (Sustainable Energy Connectivity in Central Asia).

The main objective of the seminar was to increase energy efficiency in the construction sector, implement innovative technologies, and improve the regulatory and legal framework by studying international experience in this field. The seminar was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and sectoral departments, specialists from research institutes, employees of design organizations, and international experts.
During the seminar, international experience in the field of energy-efficient construction was discussed in detail. An analysis of the status of existing regulatory and legal documents was conducted. Presentations were heard regarding the significance and possibilities of innovative technologies used in construction. An exchange of views took place on the directions for implementing energy-efficient solutions.

Faculty members and students of the Faculty of Engineering and Mechanics took an active part in the work of the seminar. They listened to the presentations with great interest, asked relevant questions, and participated in a detailed exchange of questions and answers on the topics discussed. An active exchange of views took place primarily on issues of energy-efficient construction, the use of innovative technologies, and the improvement of the regulatory and legal framework.
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants put forward relevant proposals for the development of energy-efficient construction, the implementation of international experience, and the improvement of the regulatory and legal framework. Certificates were presented to the active participants of this training seminar by representatives of the European Union.
