Dovletgeldi Muradov, a member of the Turkmenistan national freestyle wrestling team, won a gold medal at the Asian Championship (U20 Asian Wrestling Championships), which took place on July 4–5, 2026, in the Thai city of Pattaya.
The Turkmen athlete, who is a student at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, demonstrated excellent preparation and stepped onto the highest step of the podium in the weight category up to 92 kg. The tournament was held under the auspices of United World Wrestling (UWW).
