On September 19, 2025, at the Faculty of Road Construction of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, Senior Lecturer of the Department of “Highway Construction”, Candidate of Technical Sciences Yolly Muradov conducted a scientific and educational seminar on the topic: “The Role of Construction Norms in the Design and Implementation of Construction Works in Turkmenistan”.
In Turkmenistan, construction activities are strictly regulated by the state. Compliance with construction norms is not only a guarantee of the quality and reliability of structures, but also an essential foundation for the international authority and trust placed in our country.
The improvement of Turkmenistan’s construction norms and their harmonization with international practices are aimed at ensuring sustainable development of the country and strengthening its position in the global construction industry.
During the seminar, detailed discussions were held on ensuring high quality and reliability of construction in accordance with the current Construction Norms of Turkmenistan and State Standards, the specifics of national construction norms and international standards, construction planning, the peculiarities of building in seismically hazardous zones, as well as the importance of norms in transport and road construction.
The participating lecturers and students emphasized that such seminars play an important role in enhancing the knowledge of civil engineers and promoting the implementation of new technologies in practice.
