The textbook was edited by the “Ylym” publishing house of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

The textbook “Engineering Renovation of the Territory and Transport” examines issues such as assessing territories based on natural conditions, physical-geological processes and phenomena, as well as the correct selection of areas necessary for the development of a city or its parts. These aspects are considered in accordance with the requirements of urban planning, building construction, and landscaping, and are presented as results of urban planning evaluations of natural conditions. The textbook explains, with clear concepts, the importance of evaluating territory preparation for engineering purposes according to significant natural factors and the intensity of adverse physical-geological phenomena.

The textbook serves as an important manual for students specializing in architecture, urban planning and settlement design, architectural environment design, and urban construction.
