On September 24, 2025, fourth-year students of the specialty “Lifting, Transport, Construction and Road Machines and Equipment” of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of “Technological Machines and Equipment” Agameret Jumahanov, took part in a field training session held at the institute’s new building complex.
During the training, the students became acquainted with the ongoing construction works, the stages of the construction process, and the importance of the machinery used on-site. The lecturer provided detailed explanations about the structure, types, and operating principles of lifting and transport machines widely applied in construction.
In addition, the students learned about the features of motor graders used in earthworks, the significance of soil compacting rollers in road construction, and the role of concrete mixers in the building process. They also gained a general understanding of loading-unloading machines, as well as tower and mobile cranes, which are extensively used in construction.
The field training session not only provided new knowledge but also strengthened the students’ interest in their future profession. Through their lecturer’s explanations, they were able to observe how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice. This experience plays an important role in shaping their professional skills and preparing them to become competent specialists in the future.
