On November 7, 2025, the teachers of the “Automation of Production” department of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute conducted a seminar for students from the Ashgabat Construction Secondary Professional School. The seminar titled “Innovative Methods of Capturing and Using Cement Dust”, was held to provide educational and methodological support to the Ashgabat Construction Secondary Professional School as part of an Action Plan for the 2025-2026 academic year, in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan No. 77 dated March 7, 2022, “On ensuring mutual educational cooperation between higher and secondary professional educational institutions”. The seminar discussed the direct negative impact of dust emissions on human health and the environment, and the scientific research and project design work that should be carried out to struggle it.
Additionally, the seminar included a discussion on the scientifically grounded possibilities of using cement dust and carbon dioxide in beneficial ways which are significant waste products in cement production.
